Joe Cocker

In a career which spans almost four decades, Joe Cocker has experienced all of the highs and lows of fame. In contrast to his contemporaries, he is still around and more than that, he is incredibly successful. Joe Cocker is a rock legend who delights his fans with his rough and soulful voice.
In 1990, Sinéad O’Connor made history with the unforgettable song “Nothing Compares To You” and with equally unforgettable tears running down her cheek in the famous video. She is often called “difficult”, but more than anything, she is an uncompromising artist, earning her criticism along with the praise she deserves. This charismatic singer brings her innermost soul to the forefront of every performance. An evening of pure emotion.

Joe Cocker made his breakthrough in 1967 at the Woodstock Festival with his powerful and ecstatic version of the Beatle’s song: “With a Little Help from My Friends”. In contrast to most of Woodstock’s stars, Joe Cocker remains successful almost four decades later. Interpreting other artists’ songs has always been his strength. On his new album, “Hymn for My Soul” Joe Cocker shines again with brilliant covers.
Opening the show is celebrated Canadian singer Holly Cole. Long before Norah Jones came onto the scene, Holly Cole began enthralling audiences with her own elegant mix of pop and jazz.
