Motown – is to this day the most successful US record company run by African-Americans. Many African-American stars started their careers in the sixties under the guidance of the label’s boss Berry Gordy. Among the Motown groups are also «The Supremes» and «The Tempations». They delivered top hits in polished soul style. Songs which have left their impression on the Sixties. At our festival the two bands gave us renditions for the soul – from «Stop In The Name Of Love» all the way to «My Girl». Outstanding vocal talent, tasteful elegance, exact timing, stylish choreography – all of this true to the motto «There’s No Business Like Show Business».
