The combination of two artists per evening concert is also unique. You experience a perfect themed evening with artists who share a common musical thread.

Elegance and Attention to Detail

For us, music is the main focus. But off-stage, too, we leave nothing to be desired. The zones are all decorated with great attention to detail, giving the festival a touch of glamour. The CLUB is the festival’s exclusive hospitality platform where you can invite up to 100 guests.

At Home Around the World

All concert performances are recorded and broadcast to more than 140 countries on five continents, bringing our music festival to screens in countries as far away as Japan, Argentina and China. Special programme highlights are even broadcast live by ARTE Concert.

The Baloise Session-Family

A team of 13 dedicated employees works throughout the year to provide unforgettable concert evenings for our guests. During the festival, the crew grows to around 250, many of whom have been working with us for years. The Baloise Session family also includes the festival’s many friends, patrons and sponsors, without whom our success would be unthinkable. Every year the Friends of Baloise Session, a group of music enthusiasts from the Basel region, make a substantial contribution to the programme highlights.
