The Basel Ballet performed in their hometown with compositions that had universal appeal. «Carmina Burana», choreographed by Youri Vàmos, tells a story of love, joy and harmony and had become even more popular after Michael Jackson used it in his repertoire. «Diving» had jazz origins with a rapid succession of scenes that let the Basel Ballet swing. The former Broadway star and choreographer Judith Jamison skilfully linked jazz and ballet in this second piece with the Basel Ballet. Her classical roots were integrated well as modern dance.
